It’s a “what what”

Uniquely South African. When you don't remember the name of something, you say "it's a what what".

Sometimes it's a question, other times a noun.

So when the bar keeper couldn't say "zevenwacht", she said its a "zeven what what".

So lovely and always said with a grin and a giggle
